BRASIL SÓ TEM UM PRESIDENTE EM CANNES

Ricardo John, CCO da JWT é o único brasileiro a comandar júri no Cannes Lions 2016. Ele vai comandar o time de jurados da área de Outdoor do Festival Internacional de Criatividade, que será realizado entre 18 e 25 de junho deste ano. O evento, lançado em 1953 com foco na área de Filmes Comerciais, a partir de 1992 iniciou a expansão de áreas e categorias e hoje avalia trabalhos em 23 diferentes formas de comunicação. Segundo Philip Thomas, CEO de festival, os júris devem procurar um trabalho único, fora dos padrões e que carreguem uma criatividade excepcional. Conforme explica, os jurados do Canes Lions em média premiam apenas 3% dos trabalhos inscritos, que em 2015 atingiram um número próximo de 40 mil.
